“I have never used a gym before, I won’t know what to do”
Over 75% of our members have never used a gym before and that’s why they decided to choose Fitness Found, they are reassured to know that each time they come to the gym they have a personal trainer with them at all times making sure everything is being done correctly.

How many times should I train?
You want to try and train 2/3 times a week to see good benefits, it does depend on your exact goals but we will discuss this with you when you start.

“I will feel out of place in the gym, I’m not fit enough”
People think gyms are just designed for fit people! For about 80% of our members weight loss is their main aim, so nearly everyone is in the same boat, plus we start all beginners on a steady safe programme. Plus there is no lycra or bodybuilders here! We are all normal!

“That gym over there is cheaper and has more facilities than you”
We are selling a service, not a product, we feel our service cant be the best and the cheapest. You shouldn’t compare us to any other gym as we operate in a completely different way and I would advise you to come and see us so we can show you the service we offer!

I have an injury, how do I know I wont make it worse?
We will discuss your injuries in the induction and the advantage you have here is that you will have a personal trainer with you at all times making sure you are doing everything correctly and we will know what exercises to do and not to do, we have a few members with knee and hip replacements and also back injuries that we help strengthen by doing the correct training.

What do I wear?
You want to wear comfortable clothes, a t shirt, shorts or tracksuit trousers and most importantly a comfortable pair of trainers, we can give you advice on good trainers for the gym.

“So let me get this straight, I will always have a personal trainer with me every time I come to the gym?”

What is the next step if I want to start?
Ok, if you wanted to get started, firstly, all we have to do is book you in for a one to one induction which will be about 1 hour, it will be very simple, nothing to worry about, we will complete a health and lifestyle questionnaire then a health appraisal, after this it will be a very light workout just for you to get used to the machines and for us to find your level and ability, you will be shown each machine thoroughly before using it yourself. After this induction you then simply book in for your next session(s).
